MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1965. Stopped in 1983 after 66 issues.

The series features the British MI5 intelligence agent James Bond, codenamed 007, who is constantly on perilous and almost impossible missions all over the globe battling numerous villainous elements more or less singlehandedly.

The series is built over the many immensely popular James Bond films that started in 1962. Several actors, especially Sean Connery, have portrayed the agent.

The word Agent was omitted from the series' title from #53.
