Name: Magazine Enterprises (American comics corporation).
Personal dates: Founded in 1943 by Vincent 'Vin' Sullivan (1911-1999). Before he started the company Sullivan was the editor of National Allied Publications (later known as DC Comics). Stopped in 1958.

Comments: The corporation published a large number of titles in many genres, but most of them only lasted for a few issues.

 

 

MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1944. Stopped in 1955 after 139 issues.

The series contains a mixture of stories featuring multiple characters, some of which are still well known today. From the start ME published many different comic characters in an attempt to see which ones had the greatest appeal among the readers.
