Personal dates: Founded in Sweden in 1950 as a comic book subdivision of the publishing company Bonnier AB and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Serieförlaget). Sold to Egmont in 1997.

The series premiered in 1965*. Stopped in 1980 but has been continued by another publisher since then.

This annual Swedish album series** consists of humorous stories in a military environment. The main character is the cheerful, mostly unlucky, 91 Mandel Karlsson. The series has similarities to 47:an Löken.
